Norman Nakanishi is the Founding and Executive Expansion Pastor of Pearlside Church, a growing multi-generational, multi congregational body committed to making disciples, reaching campuses, training leaders and planting churches worldwide. Formerly Pearlside’s Senior Pastor for nearly 28 years, he is also a member of the Oversight Team for Every Nation, an international family of churches and ministries.

Pastor Norman has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Hawaii and a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Christian International College. Known as a leadership mentor, he also speaks in corporate and community settings on inspiration, leadership, and relationships. Parents of three daughters and grandparents of four, they are now empty nesters, Pastor Norman and his wife Faye reside in the Waipio community on the main island of Oahu.
